Cyclone Phet Becomes More Furious
The hurricane looming up close to Pakistan shoreline in Arabian Sea has become more furious. The Meteorological sector notified fishermen not going to open ocean and heading for them to back up by today’s sundown.
According to Meteorological Department, the cyclone is becoming more furious 950 kilometers to southwest of Karachi. The violent tornado would make landing at Pakistan’s shoreline within 24 hours, as it is expected to compel entrance into Sindh coastal parts at night between Friday and Saturday.
The Meteorological Department informed the cyclone Phet is moving ahead at a pace of 6 maritime miles and may go round Pakistan after roaring into Oman. The ferocious tempest could set free weighty rainstorm couple with gale-force winds in coastal regions of Sindh and Balochistan.
Under the pressure of tropical cyclone created in Arabian Sea, extensive rain linked with strapping squally winds is also predictable in Sindh counting Makran coast between Thursday to Saturday.
WMO’s Regional Specialized Meteorological Center (RSMC) has alloted name “PHET” to the tropical cyclone shaped in Arabian Sea on Tuesday nightfall. PHET is a Thai word well-defined as Pet, implying “Diamond”.
