Young Frenchmen Are Spendthrift And Crazy For Trendy Dressing Like Women
French men aged between15-29 are much spendthrift to have trendy dresses like women of their age, but jeans are the top item in their clothing, the French Fashion Institute (IFM) talked about it.
The survey reports issued on the eve of the four-day Paris menswear fashion displays said young French men bothered as much over facades as women their age yet spent less time and vigor picking and selecting clothes.
“Young men are somewhat passive about gathering fashion information. Their favourite sources are TV and brand adverts,” the study assumed, though blogs and mixed websites are becoming more trendy than magazines with men.
As to spending, jeans, shoes and jackets top the catalog of favorites with the classic wardrobe stuffed with “many small items” – on average, 18 T-shirts, 12 shirts, eight pairs of jeans, six pairs of sneakers and four pairs of shoes.
Women are much attentive than men for cost and excellence, with more than 60 % of men going for brands, evaluated to about 40 % of women.
Favorite streetwear brands are Nike and Adidas for sneakers, Levi’s, Diesel and Replay for jeans, while upmarket labels such as Armani, Boss, Dior Homme and Gucci are popular even with the 15-29 age bracket.
While men aged over 45 slash back wasting money on clothing, French men in wide-ranging squander only 15 % less on clothes than women contrasted to 30 % less in Italy and 42 % less in Britain.
