Bollywood Superstar, Bipasha Busy In Dubbing In Urdu For Lamhaa

Bipasha Basu, Bollywood actress is dubbing for her upcoming movie “Lamhaa” and is trying her best to fall her anglicized pronunciation and articulation to echo like a Kashmiri Muslim girl that she performs in the film. This, of course, is effortless said than done. Even when Bipasha had performed in Bengali movie “Sob Charitro Kalponik”, she had been prohibited by director Rituparno Ghosh from dubbing her own lines even though Bengali is her native language.

This time Bipasha is yet resolute not to let her voice presentation to undergo on grounds of her intonation. For months the superstar has been clandestinely rehearsaling her lines. “It is tough, really tough because I don’t really understand Urdu. But I’m never one to shun the urge to learn. I find it great fun. And my director Rahul Dholakia is very patient and chilled out,” Bipasha spoke to IANS.

Since “Lamhaa” undertakes the susceptible issue of military operation in Kashmir, Dholakia is appealing unyielding on getting every shade exactly. He has told the sound recordist Manoj Sikka to supervise Biapasha’s pronunciation. “I’m putting my trust in Rahul’s team and the sound recordist,” said the bollywood actress.

According to Dholakia, who’s monitoring Bipasha’s dubbing, the bollywood actress has tried her best to echo like an genuine Kashmiri Muslim girl.
