Madonna wants to adopt Malawian child whose father is known as popstar, the man rebuffs Madonna adoption aggressively. James Kambewa interviewed to US TV Channel by saying that he would be capable to look after Chifundo “Mercy” James, 4-years-old child and moreover he hadn’t chance to meet her personally. He added more that he wished the little lass to be raised as Malawian. Madonna has filed an appeal against a court which challenged her request of child adoption and hearing of the case would likely to be held on Monday, May, 4, 2009. She has adopted another boy, David, a Malawian child. Mr Kambewa interviewed to CBS television’s “The Early Show that he had a necklace, engraved name of his daughter on it though he had not met her. “I want to take care of her, and I’m capable to take care of my baby,” he said. “Mercy, she is a Malawian – so need her to grow as a Malawian as well with our culture.” A spokesperson for Madonna said that she did not recognize if Mr Kambewa was reallyMercy’s father. “All I know is that Mercy has been in an orphanage since the day she was born,” Liz Rosenberg revealed. Last month Madonna’s appeal to adopt Mercy was declined because of a prerequisite that potential parents be inhabitant in the southern African state for 18 to 24 months.
