Salmaan Taseer, Punjab Governor has enjoyed Valentine Day by sending a bunch of red roses to Nawaz Sharif, chief of PML-N. A private TV channel reported on Sunday, Taseer sent Valentine flowers as friendly gesture on the event of Valentine’s Day. Taseer tried to convey message of “friendship and love” to Nawaz, leader of PML-N. Salman Taseer, Punjab Governor has also displayed his gratitude on being remembered by Nawaz in his News Press Conference when he criticized Taseer. Punjab Governor has also appreciated the democratic system in Pakistan where media has entire freedom to highlight any news.  

Zardari biggest threat to democracy, Nawaz announced

Nawaz Sharif, chief of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has announced Asif Ali Zardari a “the biggest threat to democracy” by addressing a press conference on Sunday to wonder about the tension between presidential and judiciary authoritative and legal capacity. Nawaz has said the president should withdraw his orders regarding the appointment of judges.

Nawaz stressed upon Zardari for the implementation of the Supreme Court’s verdict on the National Reconciliation Ordinance when he was addressing a press conference at Punjab House, Lahore. He also advocated the very idea of returning all money from Swiss Accounts which is the asset of our nation.

“We have reservation over Zardari’s attitude towards the judiciary. We condemn the way … the government violated the law and the constitution,” Nawaz reported.

Moreover, the PML-N chief said there was no threat to democracy, and “no outsider” – probably a reference to the army – would be allowed to exploit the political chaos. “We will make sure that no one exploits this political and judicial crisis.”

Nawaz regretted that if there is implementation of Charter of Democracy, there would be no more such political chaos to raise such political & judiciary issues!

“We might make harsh decisions in the coming days, and will protest in and outside parliament and mobilise the masses. We will not allow anybody to spoil the institutions for personal motives,” he said.

There is no threats to smash up democratic system : Gilani

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani tried to resolve conflicts on Sunday over a Supreme Court decision for deferment of presidential orders on appointing two eminent judges, he said, such kind of judiciary clashes wouldn’t threat democratic and political system.

Gilani rebuffed that such appointments didn’t damage the court’s ruling on the National Reconciliation Ordinance, he had no reasonable answer on the latest judiciary disputes.

Gilani defended his government by giving arguments: “I want to give a message to the nation that the country’s institutions are strong, and we will work within our domains … let the court interpret. The system is intact and stable,” Gilani told reporters. “There is no threat to democracy. There is no threat to the country nor to any institution.”

He bluntly dismissed the very idea that government had opposed to the judiciary by saying that the decisions may go wrong at times. Gilani told the reporters that summary for appointment of the judges was delivered to the president by him.

“Why do you think it is end of the system or the end of democracy and the arrival of the third force?” Gilani questioned angrily. “A single decision on the appointment of a judge cannot destabilize the system, I don’t think so,” said the prime minister. “It is not the Kashmir dispute … we will solve it. It will be fine.”

An additional 13,000 students are enrolled in one or more courses in the Harvard Extension School . Over 14,000 people work at Harvard, including more than 2,000 faculty. There are also 7,000 faculty appointments in affiliated teaching hospitals.

Tolerance in Islam

The dealings of the Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, with other religions can best be described in the verse of the Quran:

“To you be your religion, to me be mine.” [Al Qur'an 109:6]

The Arabian Peninsula during the time of the Prophet was a region in which various faiths were present. There were Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, polytheists, and others not affiliated with any religion.  When one looks into the life of the Prophet, one may draw on many examples to portray the high level of tolerance shown to people of other faiths, as is described by God Almighty Himself:

‘O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted with all things.’ [Al Qur'an 49:13]

In order to understand and judge this tolerance, one must look into the period in which Islam was a formal state, with the specific laws laid down by the Prophet in accordance with the tenets of religion.  Even though one can observe many examples of tolerance shown by the Prophet in the thirteen years of his stay in Mecca, one may mistakenly think that it was only due to him seeking to raise the profile of  the Muslims and their social status.  For this reason, the discussion will be limited to the period which commenced with the migration of the Prophet to Medina, and specifically once the constitution was set.
The Saheefah
The best example of the tolerance shown by the Prophet to other religions may be the constitution itself, called the ‘Saheefah’ by early historians.When the Prophet migrated to Medina, his role as a mere religious leader ended; he was now the political leader of a state, governed by the precepts of Islam, which demanded that clear laws of governance be laid out to ensure harmony and stability in a society which once had been distraught by decades of war, one which must ensure the peaceful coexistence of Muslims, Jews, Christians and polytheists.  Due to this, the Prophet laid down a ‘constitution’ which detailed the responsibilities of all parties which resided in Medina, their obligations towards each other, and certain restrictions which were placed on each.  All parties were to obey what was mentioned therein, and any breach of its articles was regarded as an act of treachery.
One Nation
The first article of the constitution was that all the inhabitants of Medina, the Muslims as well as those who had entered the pact from the Jews, Christian, and polytheists , were “one nation to the exclusion of all others.”  All were considered members and citizens of Medina society regardless of religion, race, or ancestry.  People of other faiths were protected from harm as much as the Muslims, as is stated in another article, “To the Jews who follow us belong help and equity.  He shall not be harmed nor his enemies be aided.”  Previously, each tribe had their alliances and enemies within and without Medina. The Prophet gathered these different tribes under one system of governance which upheld pacts of alliances previously in existence between those individual tribes. All tribes had to act as a whole with disregard to individual alliances. Any attack on another religion or tribe was considered an attack on the state and upon the Muslims as well.
The lives of the practitioners of other religions in Muslim society was also given protective status.  The Prophet (pbuh) said:

“Whoever kills a person who has a truce with the Muslims will never smell the fragrance of Paradise.” (Sahih Muslim)

Since the upper hand was with the Muslims, the Prophet (pbuh) strictly warned against any maltreatment of people of other faiths.  He said:

“Beware!  Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, or curtails their rights, or burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.” (Abu Dawud)

To Each Their Own Religion
In another article, it states, “the Jews have their religion and the Muslims have theirs.”  In this, it is clear that anything other than tolerance would not be tolerated, and that, although all were members of a society, each had their separate religion which could not be violated.  Each was allowed to practice their beliefs freely without any hindrances, and no acts of provocation would be tolerated.
There are many other articles of this constitution which may be discussed, but emphasis will be placed on an article which states, “If any dispute or controversy likely to cause trouble should arise, it must be referred to God and His Messenger.”  This clause maintained that all inhabitants of the state must recognize a higher level of authority, and in those matters which involved various tribes and religions, justice could not be meted out by individual leaders; rather it must be adjudicated by the leader of the state himself or his designated representatives.  It was allowed, however, for individual tribes who were not Muslims, to refer to their own religious scriptures and their learned men in regards to their own personal affairs.  They could though, if they opted, ask the Prophet to judge between them in their matters.  God says in the Quran:

“…If they do come to you, either judge between them or decline to interfere…” [Al Quran 5:42]

Here we see that the Prophet (pbuh) allowed each religion to judge in their own matters according to their own scriptures, as long as it did not stand in opposition to articles of the constitution, a pact which took into account the greater benefit of the peaceful co-existence of society.
There are many other examples during the lifetime of the Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, in addition to the Saheefah that practically portray the tolerance Islam shows for other peoples and religions.
Freedom of Religious Assembly and Religious Autonomy
Given consent by the constitution, the Jews had the complete freedom to practice their religion.  The Jews in Medina at the time of the Prophet had their own school of learning, named Bait-ul-Midras, where they would recite the Torah, worship and educate themselves.
The Prophet (pbuh) emphasised in many letters to his emissaries that religious institutions should not be harmed.  Here in a letter addressed to his emissary to the religious leaders of Saint Catherine in Mount Sinai who has sought the protection of the Muslims:

“This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them.  Verily I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by God!  I hold out against anything that displeases them. No compulsion is to be on them.  Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries.  No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims’ houses.  Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God’s covenant and disobey His Prophet.  Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate.  No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight.  The Muslims are to fight for them.  If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval.  She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray.  Their churches are declared to be protected.  They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants.  No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world).”

As one can see, this Charter consisted of several clauses covering all important aspects of human rights, including such topics as the protection of minorities living under Islamic rule, freedom of worship and movement, freedom to appoint their own judges and to own and maintain their property, exemption from military service, and the right to protection in war.
On another occasion, the Prophet (pbuh) received a delegation of sixty Christians from the region of Najran, then a part of Yemen, at his mosque.  When the time for their prayer came, they faced the direction of east and prayed.  The Prophet (pbuh) ordered that they be left in their state and not harmed.
Politics
During the life of the Prophet (pbuh), he fully co-operated  with people of other faiths in the political arena and selected a non-Muslim, Amr-ibn Umaiyah-ad-Damri, as an ambassador to be sent to Negus, the King of Ethiopia. As today in Article 51 of the UN Charter and in exceptional circumstances Muslims were permitted to defence from attack by the Qur’an, though with a clear criterion of restraint, justice, chivalry and strict warning against trangression. The verse below demonstrates the invioable right and importance of protecting and respecting the Holy sanctury’s of all people.

Permission to fight is given to those who are fighting them, because they have been wronged, and surely, Allah is Able to give them victory. Those who have been expelled from their homes unjustly only because they said: “Our Lord is Allah.” - For had it not been that Allah checks one set of people by means of another, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, wherein the Name of God is mentioned much would surely have been pulled down and destroyed. Verily, Allah will help those who help His Cause. Truly, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty. [Al Qur'an 22:40]

These are only some of the examples of the Prophet’s tolerance of other faiths.  Islam recognizes that there are a plurality of religions on this earth, and gives the right to individuals to choose the path which they believe to be true.  Religion is not to be, and was never, forced upon an individual against their own will, and these examples from the life of the Prophet, may the mercy and blessings of God be upon him, are an epitome of the verse of the Quran which promotes religious tolerance and sets the guideline for the Muslims’ interaction with people of other faiths.  God says:

“…There is no compulsion in religion…” [Al Qur'an 2:256]

We pray that people of all faiths and those of no faith can come together and join hands to seek peace, harmony and common cause. Ameen.

THE TRUTH ABOUT US JUSTICE

Many of us are still in a state of shock over the guilty verdict returned on Dr Aafia Siddiqui.

 The response from the people of Pakistan was predictable and overwhelming and I salute their spontaneous actions.

 From Peshawar to Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and beyond they marched in their thousands demanding the return of Aafia.

 Even some of the US media expressed discomfort over the verdict returned by the jurors … there was a general feeling that something was not right.

 Everyone had something to say, everyone that is except the usually verbose US Ambassador Anne Patterson who has spent the last two years briefing against Dr Aafia and her supporters.

 This is the same woman who claimed I was a fantasist when I gave a press conference with Tehreek e Insaf leader Imran Khan back in July 2008 revealing the plight of a female prisoner in Bagram called the Grey Lady.

 She said I was talking nonsense and stated categorically that the prisoner I referred to as “650” did not exist.

 By the end of the month she changed her story and said there had been a female prisoner but that she was most definitely not Dr Aafia Siddiqui.

 By that time Aafia had been gunned down at virtually point blank range in an Afghan prison cell jammed full of more than a dozen US soldiers, FBI agents and Afghan police.

 Her Excellency briefed the media that the prisoner had wrested an M4 gun from one soldier and fired off two rounds and had to be subdued. The fact these bullets failed to hit a single person in the cell and simply disappeared did not resonate with the diplomat.

 In a letter dripping in untruths on August 16 2008 she decried the “erroneous and irresponsible media reports regarding the arrest of Ms
Aafia Siddiqui”. She went on to say: “Unfortunately,
there are some who have an interest in simply distorting the facts in an effort to manipulate and inflame public opinion. The truth is never served by sensationalism…”

 When Jamaat Islami invited me on a national tour of Pakistan to address people about the continued abuse of Dr Aafia and the truth about her incarceration in Bagram, the US Ambassador continued to issue rebuttals.

 She assured us all that Dr Aafia was being treated humanely had been given consular access as set out in international law … hmm. Well I have a challenge for Ms Patterson today. I challenge her to repeat every single word she said back then and swear it is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

 As Dr Aafia Siddiqui’s trial got underway, the US Ambassador and some of her stooges from the intelligence world laid on a lavish party at the US Embassy in Islamabad for some hand-picked journalists where I’ve no doubt in between the dancing, drinks and music they were carefully briefed about the so-called facts of the case.

 Interesting that some of the potentially incriminating pictures taken at the private party managed to find the Ambassador was probably hoping to minimize the impact the trial would have on the streets of Pakistan proving that, for the years she has been holed up and barricaded behind concrete bunkers and barbed wire, she has learned nothing about this great country of Pakistan or its people.

 One astute Pakistani columnist wrote about her: “The respected lady seems to have forgotten the words of her own country’s 16th president Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865): “You
can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some
of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time”.

 And the people of Pakistan proved they are nobody’s fool and responded to the guilty verdict in New York in an appropriate way.

 When injustice is the law it is the duty of everyone to rise up and challenge that injustice in any way possible.

 The response – so far – has been restrained and measured but it is just the start. A sentence has yet to be delivered by Judge Richard Berman in May.

 Of course there has been a great deal of finger pointing and blame towards the jury in New York who found Dr Aafia guilty of attempted murder.

 Observers asked how they could ignore the science and the irrefutable facts … there was absolutely no evidence linking Dr Aafia to the gun, no bullets, no residue from firing it.

  But I really don’t think we can blame the jurors for the verdict - you see the jury simply could not handle the truth.    Had they taken the logical route and gone for the science and the hard, cold, clinical facts it would have meant two things.  It would have meant around eight US soldiers took the oath and lied in court to save their own skins and careers or it would have meant that Dr Aafia Siddiqui was telling the truth.

 And, as I said before, the jury couldn’t handle the truth. Because that would have meant that the defendant really had been kidnapped, abused, tortured and held in dark, secret prisons by the US before being shot and put on a rendition flight to New York. It would have meant that her three children – two of them US citizens – would also have been kidnapped, abused and tortured by the US.

 They say ignorance is bliss and this jury so desperately wanted not to believe that the US could have had a hand in the kidnapping of a five-month -old baby boy, a five-year-old girl and her seven-year-old brother.

 They couldn’t handle the truth … it is as simple as that.

 Well I, and many others across the world like me, can’t handle any more lies. America’s reputation is lying in the lowest gutters in Pakistan at the moment and it can’t sink any lower.

 The trust has gone, there is only a burning hatred and resentment towards a superpower which sends unmanned drones into villages to slaughter innocents.

 It is fair to say that America’s goodwill and credibility is all but washed up with most honest, decent citizens of Pakistan.

 And I think even Her Excellency Anne Patterson recognizes that fact which is why she is now keeping her mouth shut.

 If she has any integrity and any self respect left she should stand before the Pakistan people and ask for their forgiveness for the drone murders, the extra judicial killings, the black operations, the kidnapping, torture and rendition of its citizens, the water-boarding, the bribery, the corruption and, not least of all, the injustice handed out to Dr Aafia Siddiqui and her family.

 She should then pick up the phone to the US President and tell him to release Aafia and return Pakistan’s most loved, respected and famous daughter and reunite her with the two children who are still missing.

 Then she should re-read her letter of August 16, 2008 and write another … one of resignation.

Pakistani [PPPP] Interior Minister [Corrupt Traitor] Rehman Malik had
repeatedly [fraudulently] denied the presence of Blackwater-Xe in
Pakistan. “No such agency named Blackwater is working in Pakistan,”
the minister said in January [2010].

However, former Pakistani intelligence [ISI] chief [Lt. General (R)
Mohammad] Asad Durrani told Press TV in a recent interview that he was
able to confirm the involvement of the infamous US security contractor
[Blackwater-Xe] in US drone attacks on northwestern Pakistan.

Imprecise US drone attacks have killed [thousands] of [Pakistani]
civilians in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal areas, resulting in a
surge in anti-American sentiments.

Following Islamabad’s denials, Pakistani lawmakers, from both sides of
the political spectrum, urged the [PPP-MQM-ANP corrupt] government to
break its silence and acknowledge the strong evidences pointing to the
presence of Xe Services LLC in the country.

The calls came after the US Secretary of Defense admitted that Xe
Services LLC [Blackwater] and DynCorp [International] - both American
private contractors - have been [illegally] operating in Pakistan.

One Myth less……and one

more fact !!

The Myth that the early Christians in the Lebanon
have had “ to hide away high up  in the mountains
by fear of the invading-Islam-waves”,
in the seventh century,
is completely incorrect, and much misleading too.

Those early (Maronite) Christians were already hiding
up in those mountains, 150 years, before Islam
ever came to the Lebanon and Syria.

Indeed,
those (Maronite)Christians were fearing the Byzantines
who have sent (christian)-royal-armies to persecute them and to
burn down their cloisters…… and their churches.
There were basic theological differences and interpretations,
among other dogma´s, like the identity of Jesus  or the
leadership of the different Churches.

More over,
many christian-Arab-local-sects joined with the Islamic armies
to fight back against the Imperial-Byzantines-Tyranny.
As some arab-christians-tribes also fought along side Islam
to invade Persia and beyond.

Four centuries later,
Arab-Christians of the near East were completely divided,
as to what to do with the invading Crusaders…….
and they fought on both sides of those wars.

Fourteen centuries after Islam,
Arab-Christians are still “alive and kicking”,
which is a compliment to Islam.

Now,
if you still see Christians in the mountains of the Lebanon, today,
they are only hiding away from the summer-heat of Beirut….

And if you still see Christians in Iraq,
they are probably waiting for the return
of the next Saddam Hussein
while the Copts of Egypt are hoping
for another Gamal Abdel-Nasser.

Five years ago, student of knowledge Abul Hasan Malik Aadam Al-Akhdar (hafidhahullaah) gave a class at Masjid Rahmah, reading to the attendees from a highly beneficial book Asbaabu Zilzaal (The Reasons for Earthquakes) written by Shaikh Muqbil Ibn Haadee Al-Waadi’ee, rahimahullaah.

In light of the recent earthquake that Allaah sent to the island of Haiti, inshaAllaah there is benefit in reading the following scholarly advice:  

Sayyiduna Jabir ibne-Abdullah (RadhiAllaho anhuma) narrates:

I heard Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) saying:

Between man and (his entering into) polytheism

and unbelief is the abandonment of Salat.

that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

Anyone who performs Wudu

and performs it properly

then comes to the Friday Salat,

listens to the Khutbah(sermon) attentively,

and remains silent,

his sins between this Friday and the last one are forgiven;

and also (the sins) for three additional days.

But he who touches the pebbles during the Khutbah

(plays with them with his hands, or floor-mats or clothes)

then he has acted irrelevantly

(due to which he  lost the special reward for the Friday Salat).

light for the tongue to remember,
heavy in the scales
and are dear to the Merciful:

Subhan-Allahil-Azim’
 
‘(Glory be to Allah and His is the praise,
(and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection)’.”

Katrina Kaif’s poor health is worrying all those who are close to her. She has suffered from some ailment again after recovering sick health in the previous months. Katrina, bollywood star has been ill by food-poisoning since Monday Night. Her doctors have recommended her to take complete bed rest but this would affect her busy schedule.

What to mention socks…even the kid’s pampers are charged to the National treasury which has brought the expenditure of the President House to 18 and ½ and the Prime Ministers budget to 20 Crores. Here nephews, sisters, brother in laws hold sway over the portals of power…where Secretaries receive phone calls from, “I am the brother in law of the Sahib.”

It is a Pakistan in which the full government is present at the airport to receive the vice-president of the United States of America . In the Cabinet meetings, besides tea coffee full lunches and dinners are served. The kitchens of the President and prime Minister turn crores of rupees into smoke annually! This is the advanced Pakistan where 16 crore poor people are trying to survive!

When the Quaid e Azam left the Governor House on duty there was one police car with a single Inspector of police who also happened to be a non-muslim – at the time when Gandhi had been killed and Quaid e Azam’s life was in danger too – in spite of that the Quaid e Azam went for his evening walk enjoyed the fresh air without security…but today the Heads of State do not travel even ten kilometres without modern bullet proof cars, expert security guards and well trained Commandos –

We have failed to instil equality in our country we have been unable to establish a dynamic morally upright nation…have not even made it a peaceful secure modern State!

least two top players of the present set-up [PPP-ANP-MQM-JUIF Tyranny]
from being sacked for creating misunderstanding between the [Pakistan]
Army and the President House. [It is not clear why the attack of
Saturday, 10 October 2009 on Pakistan Army's GHQ has delayed firing of
two corrupt traitors of the Zardari-Gilani Mafia.]

It was decided in a high-level meeting on Friday that these two men,
considered close to the [unconstitutional, illegal, unlawful]
president [Asif Ali Zardari, a corrupt traitor], would be sacked from

Sources in the capital said that Saturday’s meeting between the [PPP]

tensions for the time being but all is not yet over. The [PPP-ANP-MQM-
JUIF corrupt] government would convey its objections to the
controversial clauses of the Kerry-Lugar Bill to the U.S.
administration anytime soon, and it is expected that the U.S. may also
agree to change the [defamatory] language of these clauses [for U.S.
aid to Pakistan]. However, pressure from the U.S. officials on the

House in the near future. The U.S. is quietly putting pressure on the

A report of the Pakistan Policy Working Group [PPWG] for the U.S.
president suggested in September 2008 that:

["Increase support for civilian institutions that would provide
oversight of the military and the Directorate of Inter-Services
Intelligence. Washington should encourage civilian control of the
military and increase the capacity of civilians to govern.
International Military Education and Training (IMET) programs with
Pakistan provide a means to increase the army's understanding of the
value of civilian control and of accountability and transparency in
defense planning and budgeting. Washington should substantially
increase the number and frequency of these kinds of training and
exchange programs.
Similarly, programs should be conducted for civilians to increase
their understanding of and tools for expanding civilian control.
Further, we should encourage the extension of civilian oversight to
the ISI, including appointment of a civilian to head the intelligence
organization. Such steps are necessary if Pakistan seeks to develop a
government that is accountable to its people and allies. We should
enlist the support of likeminded friends and allies in supporting
reform of Pakistan's security services.

Lugar legislation, adding: ["Support the approach to assistance

with Pakistan Act of 2008,' introduced July 15, 2008. Commit to
including $1.5 billion per year in non-military spending in each of
the Administration's annual budget requests. Such assistance, however,
must be performance-based, and must be accompanied by rigorous

The [PPWG report] authors, including Kara L. Bue of the Armitage
International and Lisa Curtis of the Heritage Foundation, used
objectionable language about the Pakistan Army in the said report.
Interestingly, the Pakistan Policy Working Group thanked DynCorp
[International] at the end of the report as the “partner organization
that contributed to the production of the report”.

DynCorp is a private security firm in the USA, which receives more
than 96 percent of its $ 2 billion annual revenues from the [U.S.]
federal government. The U.S. administration has hired its services in
Iraq, Gaza Strip, Bosnia and Afghanistan. Five employees of DynCorp
were fired for being involved in trafficking of child sex slaves in
Bosnia.

Recently, DynCorp was given a contract for the security of U.S.
diplomats in Pakistan, where the company was working with Inter-Risk,
a Pakistani security firm. Many people in Pakistan confused DynCorp
with Blackwater [USA]. However, it is DynCorp that is establishing a
large security network not only in Islamabad and Peshawar, but also in
Karachi. Pakistani security agencies have raised serious objections to
the activities of the U.S. security firm. It is feared that DynCorp
may create some problems for the country’s nuclear programme with the
secret cooperation of Pakistan’s traditional enemies.

criticism on the Kerry-Lugar Bill in Pakistan, the [PPP-ANP-MQM-JUIF]
government has decided to replace [PPP corrupt traitor Asif Ali
Zardari's envoy] to the U.S. Husain Haqqani and the announcement in
this respect is expected within the next two days.

Well informed official sources have been quoted as saying that the
country’s [new] ambassador to the U.S. would be appointed as a
spokesman of the Presidency.

Sources said the announcement with regards to the replacement of
Haqqani would be made within 48 hours. Husain Haqqani is being
replaced over the inclusion of some controversial [Anti-Pakistan, Anti-
Army and Anti-ISI] clauses in the [malicious, defamatory and
imperialistic] Kerry-Lugar Bill [for U.S. aid bribes to Pakistan].

The positions of the Spokesman Presidency, Farhatullah Babar [a

Party [PPP] Information Secretary Fouzia Wahab [another corrupt

Major Shake-Up in Pak Diplomatic Corps in Offing

strong reaction across Pakistan over the controversial [Anti-Pakistan,
Anti-Army and Anti-ISI] Kerry-Lugar Bill, the [PPP-ANP-MQM-JUIF]
government seems to be serious to initiate a major shake-up in the
over-staffed information set up in the country. It has started feeling
intensely that the performance of [Pakistan] Foreign Office in such a
sensitive situation falls far short of expectations in transmitting
true national sentiments to the Obama Administration in Washington in
time.

Similarly, as the deep sentiments of all segments of the [Pakistani]
society regarding the controversial [Anti-Pakistan, Anti-Army, Anti-
ISI, Kerry-Lugar-Berman] Bill could not be properly conveyed to the
Obama Administration in Washington, it has also been decided to
undertake a similar shake-up in the lack-luster, lame-duck [Pakistan]
Foreign [Ministry] as well [which is currently led by PPP's corrupt
traitor Shah Mahmood Qureshi].

According to reliable sources in the [Presidency], [PPP puppet
traitor] Asif Ali Zardari, who has become the main target of accusing
fingers of all sorts, appears to be visibly annoyed and extremely
upset over the failure of the information setup to come out with a
strong defence. The [PPP] president is reported to be very much
irritated. “In fact, he is having sleepless nights”, sources confided.

Official sources told this scribe in confidence that as per exercise
underway at the Presidency and the [PPP] Prime Minister House, “there
has been severe and shocking backlash from the [Anti-Pakistan, Anti-
Army and Anti-ISI] Kerry-Lugar Bill bearing political contours”.

The other factor of the backlash, rather the major factor, is believed
to be the clumsy manner in which Pakistan’s diplomats in Washington
pleaded the “merits” of the [Anti-Pakistan, Anti-Army, Anti-ISI, Kerry-
Lugar-Berman] Bill that injured the sensitivities of the people of
Pakistan. Particularly, Husain Haqqani in Washington was all the time
projecting the [libelous and malicious Kerry-Lugar-Berman] Bill in a
tone and tenor as if he was the functionary of the Obama
Administration.

An insider in the [Pakistan] Foreign Office observed that [Husain]
Haqqani had also been flouting the diplomatic norms and had acquired a
position almost to dictate the Foreign Office in Islamabad. Similarly,
the insider added it is the general public impression that the U.S.
had two ambassadors in Pakistan, one in Washington [Husain Haqqani]
and the other in Islamabad [U.S. war criminal Anne W. Patterson].

Pakistan Observer understands that it was in this perspective that the
[PPP-ANP-MQM-JUIF] government had decided to take out the thorns,
which are piercing the [PPP-ANP-MQM-JUIF] government in general and
the [PPP] president [Asif Ali Zardari] in particular. It is learnt
that the [PPP] president had decided that now a “no non-sense”
attitude has to be developed. Pakistan Observer further learnt that
the major bureaucratic reshuffle in the [Pakistan] Foreign Office and
in the Information Department would be made within a couple of days to
meet the situational urgency. [PPP puppet traitor Shah Mahmood Qureshi
and PPP corrupt traitor Qamar Zaman Kaira, who earlier shamelessly
supported and promoted the Anti-Pakistan, Anti-Army, Anti-ISI, Kerry-
